Fun fun

Today was a fun, but super busy day. We had talked earlier in the week about taking Madelyn to the McWane Center. They are (through the end of the month) doing a cell phone drive, and you can get a free combo ticket if you brought in an old cell phone. So we did just that, and since Madelyn is still under 2, we enjoyed a fun free day. What I love about my child is that she absolutely throws herself into whatever activity she is presented with at the moment. It was difficult for her to transition from 1 activity to another because she was having so much fun! Since it was a combo ticket, we went to see the IMAX movie Wild Ocean. This was Madelyn's first movie! She enjoyed it...well, what she was awake through at least. Darkness, music, & fishies lulled her to sleep. It actually worked out pretty well though, because she got enough of a nap so we could stay longer & do different activities. I don't think I could even pick out which her favorite was. Of course I have pics, but I am entirely too lazy at the moment to go get the camera out of the car, upload them to the computer, & upload them to blogger. Sorry. When we got home, we played for a while, then went to dinner with my mom. Poor baby was so exhausted that she passed out in the car on the way home, in our neighborhood no less. So tonight, we're just vegging, catching up on the seemingly endless list of things on the DVR. I really need to be working on a certain little girl's birthday party plans!
