And then, it hits you

Well, being in the school has finally gotten to me. I am sick. Yuck. I started feeling bad Saturday evening, and I did not go to church on Sunday because I felt so bad. I went to the school today, but only stayed for an hour since I still am not feeling well. I'm decent if I am highly medicated, but my brain is gone. Put it this way - I walked out this morning - in 23 degree weather - with no jacket. I did not realize that I didn't have a jacket until I was almost to the school. How bad is that? Anyway, other than that, there isn't much new news. I am working on my application for the schools so that I can go ahead and set up an interview. I am also trying to work on graduation stuff. I was supposed to order stuff last week, but they changed the date on me. Anyway, guess that's all for now.

Here, there, and everywhere

Yes, I know, it's been forever since I've posted. But I think pretty much everyone understands. So anyway...I am almost halfway through my first externship. How exciting!! I am almost sad to switch because I am loving it sooo much. I am at Calera middle/high, Meadow View elementary, Valley intermediate, and Riverchase middle. I know it sounds like a lot, but it's really great. Anyway, other than that, there isn't much new news. My dad got to and back from Denver safely, thankfully. There was snow & ice, so naturally those are not the best flying conditions. We took him to the airport at 7 Sunday morning & then went to church from there. I don't know if anyone knew about my great-uncle. We went to see him Tuesday in the hospital (he had been having some colon problems & has been in & out of the hospital with surgeries over the past couple of months) and he was fine then - he went home Wednesday & was back in the hospital Thursday. He went into cardiac arrest that night & almost died, but he's doing better now. So just keep us & all of our family in your thoughts & prayers.
