Homebound

Well, I have been stuck at home today. I fell at school yesterday and hurt my ankle very badly. Also I pulled a muscle in my other leg. So it was not a good day yesterday. On top of that, I think I am having a reaction to the pain killers because I have been throwing up all day. Yesterday, my supervisor canceled my other client & went to Ugent Care. Fortunately, it is not broken, but I can't do anything. Anyway, the Lion King was GREAT! Oh my goodness, I love plays, but I have never seen anything like that before. Emmy stayed with my mom & dad that night. We didn't get to go to church Sunday because she was sick. Monday was good until I hurt myself. Anyway, we are going to try to go to the beach this weekend, barring hurricanes and if I can walk by then. =)

Over

Well, I am glad this week is almost over. It has been very hectic. I am now officially finished going to Bessemer. My client canceled yesterday, so I got to go home early & finish some stuff that needed to be done. Anyway, we are going to Lion King tonight. That's what David wanted to do for his birthday. We are both excited. I'll tell you how it is!

Updates...

Wow it has been an interesting week since I last blogged. Let's see...we didn't get to finish testing last week so I have to go back this Friday. Better than next Friday, because hopefully I will be out of town then. On our way back from Bessemer on Friday, we were in an accident. Everyone was ok. My neck and shoulder hurt a little still, but it's a lot better. A lady rear-ended us going about 40 (I wasn't driving) while we were stopped in the turn lane. Anyway, I also started clinic this week. I had both of my clients yesterday. How scary is that? I have clients! Anyway, we are all so worn out after these past few weeks! I guess that's all for now, I'll try to post later.

Exhaustion

This week so far has been very interesting. We started the UAB testing yesterday. It goes through Friday. Then I had a meeting with my clinical supervisor. I was late to my class because of this. Then we had to do CPR training. Next on my agenda was cake decorating class. So I was gone from 7:15 in the morning to 9:30 last night. Then I got up this morning and did the whole thing over again. I'm still at school right now. I'm supposed to be in class, but most of us left early. I still need to meet with my research advisor (which was supposed to be yesterday, but there was literally no time. Not even to eat). Anyway, I am about to go home and crash!

Finally!

Well, I finally found out who my clinical supervisor is. Thankfully, it is someone good. I have been a tad stressed about this for, oh, 2 weeks now? Bad thing is, gas prices are so high that some of our clients cancelled. So now I have no clients. Anyway, things have finally calmed down for me for this week at least. Yesterday was insane. I had 2 things due today (or so I thought - we only turned in one), so I was running around like a crazy person. One was a group project, and yesterday morning was the only time we could get together. Then I had an article to review - not fun. Anyway, next week I will be in Bessemer doing stuff for school. Fun, fun. We're carpooling. If we didn't, I would get lost. Seriously. I am directionally challenged. So, that's my week so far. How is everyone else doing?

3 Day Weekend

Well, it was nice for both of us to have a 3 day weekend. It wasn't much of a break, but it was still nice. We had Emmy until late Sunday afternoon. Yesterday, I started the last round of cake decorating classes. I think I'm going to be a little overwhelmed! I have a ton of school stuff to do, so I guess that's all for now. I should be able to post later in the week.
