Gidgets & gadgets

Well, we have had a full day! We started off with breakfast & then headed over to Sam's to pick up a few things. Well, we walked out with more than we planned! David decided that with part of his Christmas money, he wanted to get this printer that he has wanted for a while. Now we can print from the laptops instead of getting on the big computer. He also got another card for his iPac since he lost his other one. We also picked some cat food up for my parents. Then we headed over to Cobblestone because I had a pair of shoes I wanted to get fixed. I also found a pair of shoes that were normally $100 on sale for $20, so I was excited. They are Merrell dress shoes that are black & closed heel - which I have needed for a while! Anyway, after that we headed to Wal-mart to pick up some more things. We got a new DVD/VCR combo that will record to DVD. Something else we have been wanting for a while & really needed because our old one hardly plays any more. It's only about 8 years old...Well, we had a wonderful Christmas overall. We still have a couple of people we need to exchange presents with - probably do that next week. We had a lot of Christmases, & Christmas day was really good. I got to see my uncle & his wife (twice in one year at that!) & a very old family friend & his wife (he used to babysit my dad & was in the military with my granddaddy). I have some pictures to upload...I may do that after dinner.

In full force

Well, the holidays are definitely in full force. Only 9 days until Christmas! Anyway, there's not much more to post. We had our church band Christmas party last night. It was a lot of fun. I need to post some new pictures...maybe I'll have a chance to do that this week. We get out of school on Wednesday - yay!

Christmas is here!

Ok, I know there are still 24 days, but I am SO ready for Christmas! We decorated today- yeah it's a little later than we normally decorate, but things have been so crazy!! David is in charge of lights & sound at church, and he has been there so much lately working on the Christmas production for next week. We are at church typically 4 days/week we determined earlier. Anyway, not much else is going on. Nothing has happened with the house yet, just a waiting game basically. Work was a little rough this week for me. I was really upset (along with a lot of other people) because there are 2 people at Calera that everyone has problems with, & they are causing unnecessary evil. And Thursday was really really bad. Anyway, maybe it will be better next week! Only 2 weeks until we are out for Christmas!!
