I have greatly enjoyed being with the reason I am a mommy on Mother's Day.
It's amazing how your perspective changes. Before, it wasn't a huge deal...and still it isn't really. But it is so special to have a vibrant little life calling me "mama." And I could not love her any more. Especially when she is being a little hamlisch.
This is my sweet sweet love, showing her teeth. I have her daddy to thank for this expression. He usually gets her ready at night, which she prefers (I guess she's tired of me by that point), and when he brushes her teeth, he tells her to show him her teeth to make sure they're all clean. Let me tell you, this face could not get any cuter.
Such a big girl...eating her mac & cheese with a spoon. She still gets a little impatient sometimes, but she does unbelievable well with a spoon & fork.
So yesterday, even though it wasn't the warmest day we've had so far, we blew up her baby pool. This was a very time-intensive process! But, now she can be happy and play in the water. And yes, she was trying to drink the water out of the hose. And yes, she was successful. Such a mess! It was fun though.
It doesn't getting better than having balls in the pool!
Still a work in progress at this point. Besides the toys (a "rattle" snake, giraffe ring toss, and ball toss), it has a slide, "deep end" (which is actually the small part of the pool), and the palm tree sprays when hooked up to the hose. We actually bought this probably 6 years ago. It was used a couple of times at our old house with Emmy, but it's been in storage since then.
Another cute snapshot of my little bit. These are some cute sunglasses my parents got her when we were at the beach. So cute! But, she hates wearing them! This lasted only long enough for David to take the picture.

We really need to get together at the pool in our neighborhood before my time runs out! (; It opens May 15th and I will be there a LOT from the 15th until Julianna appears!
