So bad...

I have been so horrible with blogging! So let's see...what's new...not terribly much! Little miss is doing well, other than a diaper rash that won't go away. We took her to the doctor yesterday & he gave us some good stuff for it. Hopefully it will be gone soon. When we took her for her 18 month appointment, she had finally reached the 50the percetile for weight! We were very excited since that had been such a struggle. Today I took the day off since I wasn't feeling well...hopefully I will recover so we can go to the beach for David's birthday. Work has been kind of nuts lately, and I've been quite stressed. Hopefully it will get better soon. On the plus side, I've had an intern with me who is fabulous. One less thing to worry about. So, things we've done over the past month...last weekend, we had lunch with a dear friend of mine. Madelyn & her son are about 4 months apart, and they're great friends! Here they are playing at the mall (even though the little cars aren't on) -

Before our playdate, I had an appointment to get my hair cut, and David took Madelyn to Star Lake to feed the geese. They were very up close & personal! Afterwards they went to the park & she got to play some.

So this is pretty much super old news now, but for Labor Day weekend, we went to Gulf Shores. Not much with Madelyn has changed as far as that goes. She still likes playing in the sand and is terrified of the ocean, and she still would rather play in the pool.

It was a fun weekend, especially since we got to see some friends, as well as spend time with David's family, while we were down there. I guess there's not much else to post now...hopefully we'll come back with some good pics!
