TGIF!

We bought Miss Madelyn some sunglasses for the beach! She also has a sun dome so she doesn't get too hot or burned.

Can you see what is in her hand? It's my glasses she ripped off my face!

Her latest feat is trying to say "I love you." She did it probably 20 times, but then she wouldn't do it with the camera on. She did say "I love" though - I'll try to post that later.

I don't know why I'm glad it's Friday, other than the fact that I get to spend some time with my hubby & we're that much closer to vacation. We are looking forward to spending some quality time together and time with friends. Not much new news...oh I guess I never told why I said we were bad parents last weekend. We went to look at the Venza again...and we wound up getting one, so that's what took so long. We wouldn't have gotten it except they made us a really good deal (apparently the last day of the month an hour before closing is the time to buy a car). I settled for silver, although I wanted this green color, but money can make you color blind! =) The weird thing about it? I have no key! It has a smart key...I didn't think I would like it but it's really cool and I am no longer fumbling for my keys. Not much else is new...Madelyn has been a bit off schedule the past couple of days. I'm chalking it up to the teething. For a couple of days, she didn't want to nurse. Then the past couple of days, she has been getting up in the middle of the night...so not like her. Last night I used a gum massager on her - she loved it! I guess it felt good to her gums. They are so red! But for now, as David says, that toothless grin will get you any time!
