Round 2

Oh my goodness...I have gone through round 2 of being sick. It didn't help that I never really got over round 1. I went back to the doctor on Tuesday, so 2 dr. visits, 2 shots, & 4 prescriptions later, I'm finally getting better. I may have been better before now, but it all started on Saturday...Saturday was En Fuego, & we went to be supportive of the band. At first it was extreme heat, but then it finally got cloudy & cooled off a little. Well, right as they were getting ready to play, here comes a bad storm with lots of lightening. They went on or a white in the rain, but when it started lightening, they stopped & made everyone get back. We went & got into the RV that Jamie's grandparents had. We were soaked, & it was really cold in the RV so it didn't help any. They eventually did get to play, even though their set was shortened & they cut the 2nd set. After they played, we went to eat on the way home. We were exhausted by the time we got to bed! I haven't slept well this week, & with being sick I have just been worn out! I'm so happy for the long weekend. Oh, we had another fun band experience on Thursday night. They asked David to go pick up the van, since they had to leave it at the airport when they flew out on Wednesday. So we went, along with Malerie & Amelia, to find the van. Imagine trying to find a big white van in the huge parking deck that is the airport. Really the only place we thought they could park would be the 1st floor, but it wasn't there. Or on the other 7 floors. After driving around the airport parking deck for an hour, & not being able to get the guys because they were in flight, we finally got in touch with them & found out that they weren't in the deck at all - they were in a satellite deck about a half mile down the road. It was an interesting night, to say the least. Well, I think that's all I have to report now...school is going great, but I'm getting tired of meetings! I better go - we have a dance we're doing for tomorrow that I so need to work on!

You would think that the phrase "oh, by the way, the van is in the SATELLITE parking lot" would have come into play during the conversation. Noooooooo...guys have to be undetailed and random! I bet that will be a memory to last a lifetime! Yes, it seems like yesterday you were keeping Felicity and feeding her butternut squash. Oh by the way, we just fed Ariana butternut squash for the first time today. She gobbled down a whole jar and it was her first time to have solids! It made me think of memories of Felicity. Sad huh? WE are getting old! (:
