Eggs anyone?
Well, it has been an interesting week. For one, I have been sick, again - for the 2nd time this month. Very sick this time. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I have bronchitis, sinus infection, & it was starting to get to my ears. Fun stuff. Sunday I started feeling bad, achy & feverish, Monday it went downhill, and Tuesday I had no voice. I feel better today, granted I am full of medicine. Anyway, we had something very interesting happen Monday. When I got home from school, I found an egg. A bird egg. In my house. Yep, Bella laid an egg. I immediately started looking it up online, & they said that sometimes they lay eggs everyother day. She hasn't laid one today, so there probably isn't anything in the other one, which is a good thing. I can't handle any more animals!! She has been very protective of it until today, but she hasn't paid much attention to it today. They said when we first got her that she had laid a couple of eggs, but nothing was in them. She hasn't laid any in the three years that we've had her. Only one more bit of news. My cousin Katrina called today & said that she was pregnant again. Ok, so I guess that's all for now. I had a song in my head this morning that I was going to post, but I can't remember what it was.

Maybe bella laying an egg was a sign that your cousin was pregnant. (you could have played that one up real big) just kidding.
Call me crazy, but I thought that in order for a bird to lay an egg it had to do the "whoopy"??? I mean, isn't that how babys are formed? Oh no, that's right, St. Vincents - where baby's come from. (silly me!)
We have got to get together.
My grandmother's bird layed eggs all over the house for about a year. She would wonder where the bird was and search frantically for hours before she found her on the top of a door with a little egg carefully balancing on it...or on a shelf...or above the oven. Yeah it was annoying for her too. Hope you get well soon!
