"Boot Camp"

This has been a crazy busy week. Wednesday, we started 2 youth services at night. We have a junior high & then high school. It went very well though. Anyway, Thursday & Friday we had orientation for school. They called it "boot camp." They were 2 VERY long days. But, I know my schedule now....for 3 weeks at least (barring no interference from Hurricane Katrina). It will be especially hectic in a couple of weeks because I will be in Bessemer doing testing for a UAB research grant. I am really looking forward to that. Anyway, Saturday I went to work & then stopped by Smith's in Mountain Brook. I am looking for a bag that I can use at school for books & therapy. I only have 4 classes & clinic. I also found out that my assistanceship is a research project. Fun fun. I really am not fond of research...I hate writing papers. On top of that, one of my classes is a research class. YUCK! Anyway, back to the bag. I know that there is a store at the Summit that sells Alan Stuart purses & other stuff like that. Someone told me that they have the bags there, but they didn't know the name of the store. So if anyone has any idea, please let me know!! Considering I start school tomorrow, I'm getting pretty desperate. After I came back from Mountain Brook, we went & got David's car. He now has a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. He has wanted one of these ever since he had to borrow my dad's one time. It is very nice. It its also a huge blessing. We almost couldn't get it & we were both very upset, but God blessed us & provided for us. Isn't God so amazing & wonderful? We were very exhausted yesterday evening to say the least. Church was really good today. Jeanne Mayo, who is the top youth pastor in the nation, came to speak at our church. Afterwards, we went to lunch with my parents. Oh, and Granny came back yesterday. She drove today...that was really scary to me. She hasn't driven in a couple of years. Oy...Well, I guess that's all for now. If any of you are ADHD like me you probably didn't make it to the end anyway...
